20181120 Technology and Humanities Dialogue Series I: The Future of Technology and Law for Self-driving
Self-driving technology is getting closer to us and Taiwan's related laws need more support by the legislature. In response to problems arising from the advent of self-driving, the NTU AI center, aintu, and the NTU School of Law will hold the seminar where a number of legal and self-driving experts are invited to address the issues.

20180917 NTU Signs MOU with Stanford University
NTU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Stanford University to pursue research collaboration on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to biotechnology and healthcare on September 17th.

Ms. Yang Hsiu-Ya, Director General of the Ministry of Science and Technology Department of Foresight and Innovation Policies, and Prof. Lin Youn-Long, the host of the AI Promotion Office, delivered speeches in the event.
2018 AI Summer School
The event featured well-known scholars and experts: Prof. Lee Hung-yi from NTU, and Research Fellow Chen Chu-song and Asst. Research Fellow Ku Lun-wei from Academia Sinica spoke on machine learning, deep learning, and visual and speech language processing. The two-day event included lecture and practicum.

Held in collaboration with all 4 AI centers across Taiwan, the event aimed to let AI education take root and allow teachers to form a community to promote more opportunities for cooperation.

The competition asked participants to build intelligent hospitals based on Artificial Intelligence and mathematics. More than 20 teams from all over the world have participated in the competition.
